CHIP SHOP, GROCERY STORE AND CAFE OVER THE ROAD FROM THE CARAVAN PARK.

OPPOSITE THE CARAVAN THERE IS A CHILDRENS PLAY PARK, BRILLIANT FOR ALL AGES.
THERE IS ALSO A LAUNDRETTE ONSITE FOR ALL TO USE.

The caravan is sited on Hayling Island Holiday Park. The Park itself is only open March until November. Outside of School Holidays/ High season the entertainment may be restricted.

Entertainment passes are not included but can be purchased from reception, I cannot guarantee that evening entertainment will be provided daily. The current price is £10.00 per person over 5 yrs of age. Access to the bar, restaurant and pool is included with the passes.

The holiday park is a 15 minute walk from the beach, or if you prefer to drive there are plenty of car parks. At the beach you will find the Fun Lands funfair and amusements. Hayling Billy train that runs along the beach front. Some lovely pubs that serve great food. On a Wednesday morning there is a very popular car boot sale, close to the funfair.

The historical city of Portsmouth is a 20 minute drive away. Here you will find the Historical dock yard, home to HMS Victory, the Mary Rose, HMS Warrior and the new Royal Marines Museum. You can even take a ferry across the water to Gosport to visit the Royal Navy Submarine Museum where the only surviving world war II submarine is situated. Gunwharfe Quays is close to the dock yard. A must if you like good restaurants, cocktail bars and designer outlets. Or take a trip up the Spinnaker tower for spectacular views.

Comprising of one double bedroom with Freeview TV, plenty of storage space, mirrored dressing table, door into family bathroom with large shower cubical. (There is also one door into the bathroom leading from the hallway.)Jack n Jill.

The Bees Knees is a real home from home with all the comforts you would expect when holidaying. Bee themed throughout you are sure to love the relaxing holiday home. Fully double glazed and modern interior,  

All mattress protectors and pillow protectors are changed for every booking, to ensure a high standard of cleanliness. Beds are made up for your arrival. 

Open plan kitchen/lounge, fully fitted kitchen with 3 drawer freezer, separate fridge/freezer. Full size cooker, Airfyer, microwave toaster, coffee machine & kettle. 
Also supplied are
dishcloths, scourers, tea towels, kitchen roll, washing up liquid, antibacterial spray, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, hoover, DAB radio, assortment of DVDs and various games for the children. 

All linen and towels are supplied (we kindly request you bring your own beach towels). Toilet rolls and anti-bacterial hand wash are supplied, please note we do not supply toiletries. 

Cot, highchair, booster seat, freshly laundered linen for baby, changing mat, baby bath, pushchair and safety gate are all available upon request at no extra charge.

Outdoor seating on the spacious decking, with outdoor solar lighting for those summer evenings,  will certainly allow you to relax and watch the sun go down and the cruise ships sail past, with a glass of wine (or two) .Picnic bench, sun loungers & BBQ available.

You will enjoy a welcome pack  of Fresh Island produce on arrival, even a small gift for the children. 

Wi-Fi is available but limited due to the rural position. 

Parking for 2 cars is available alongside The Bees Knees (Permit required from Reception) 

There is a small washing line, pegs, linen basket  and clothes airer are available. 

Water, gas and electricity are included in our rental charges, all you need to do is relax and enjoy. 

Please note bookings are taken Sunday to Sunday, short breaks are available out of season only (min 3 nights). 

All fire alarms and carbon monoxide sensors are tested weekly prior to your arrival and logged to ensure your safety, fire blanket and fire extinguisher are both provided, we kindly ask that you refrain from smoking indoors ( Inc e cigarettes) also on decking area.

Sorry, we do not allow pets (site rules).

A £100 deposit will be required upon booking this will also secure your booking.

Discounted ferry travel both Wightlink and Red Funnel are available to guests, please discuss with us whilst booking.

The sandy Whitecliff Bay is just a short stroll away and can be accessed by Sandhills own private footpath. 

Sandhills Holiday Park has a children's play area that will keep the children entertained, a well-stocked shop with off licence for all those essentials, a launderette with washing machines and dryers, please note tokens will need to be purchased from reception. 

Sandhills is a family run site aimed for couples and family groups. No Hen or Stag Parties please.

There are numerous, pubs, restaurants, cafes, children's activity play areas, etc to choose from on the island. 

We have an extensive information booklet in The Bees Knees with every attraction listed, leaflets and information on where to visit, what to see and do. 

From beaches to bars, restaurants, model village, theme parks for the children, dinosaurs and even dinosaur bones, quaint chocolate shops, tea gardens, Island Gin & Vodka distillery, coastal walks, cycling there are lots of plenty of hidden gems, Osbourne House, Brading Roman Villa, Carisbrooke Castle all a must when visiting the island. 

There is so much to see and do on the island, if this is your first visit, we are sure you will want to return again and again you will find all the information you need in The Bees Knees 

There are plenty of supermarkets to stock up on your holiday groceries, and favourite tipples, ASDA, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Aldi, Lidl and M&S, lots of Co-op stores dotted around the island, all details can be found in our information booklet.

Please note we are happy to accept online grocery deliveries for you on your day of arrival. Please enquire when booking with us.

Elliotts Caravan Park is a small and friendly park on Hayling Island, located a short walk from the beach.

We have three caravans available for hire that can be rented for WEEKLY HOLIDAYS from SATURDAY TO SATURDAY, between 1st March and 31st October. We do not do shorter stays.

Two caravans have x 2 bedrooms and sleep up to four people, and one caravan has 3 bedrooms and sleeps up to six people. Dogs are permitted in all the caravans. Max 2 dogs.

All three caravans provides comfortable self-catering accommodation, were new for the 2020 season, and are fitted with double glazing and central heating, and are fully kitted out with everything you need to enjoy your visit, including oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, television, pots & pans, cutlery and crockery, etc. You just need to bring your own sheets and towels. A full inventory will be provided with your booking confirmation.

The park makes an ideal base for exploring Hayling Island, a popular seaside holiday destination with award winning beaches and excellent sporting and leisure facilities. Local attractions include the picturesque local towns of Emsworth, Bosham, Chichester, and East Meon. Stately Homes & Gardens at Stansted Park, Uppark House & Gardens, Hinton Ampner, Petworth House & Gardens, Avington Park, West Dean Gardens, Arundel Castle, Staunton Country Park. Portsmouth has an interesting selection of museums which include the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard where you can visit Nelson’s Victory and the Mary Rose, as well as the Cumberland House Natural History Museum, D-Day Story Museum, Southsea Castle, Genesis Expo, the Portsmouth Museum, and the Charles Dickens Birthplace Museum. Other sites of interest include Fishbourne Roman Palace, the Beaulieu Motor Museum, Weald & Downland Living Museum, Tangmere Military & Aviation Museum, Gosport Submarine Museum, Little Woodham Living History Village. For nature lovers, Arundel Wetland Centre is great for birdwatchers as is the Titchfield Haven nature reserve at Gosport. Kingley Vale has an ancient yew forest. There is also the Queen Elizabeth Country Park and Marwell Zoo. For entertainment on Hayling Island there is Funland and the Hayling Seaside Railway. At Southsea there is the Clarence Pier amusement park and Treasure Island Adventure Golf. There are cinemas in Port Solent, Portsmouth and Chichester. There are theatres in Portsmouth and Chichester. Shopping at Havant and Portsmouth including the Gunwharf Quays shopping outlet and Spinnaker Tower.

Van 2 has double bedroom and twin bedroom. Private site in quiet residential area at Sandy Point end of island. Van 1 has double bedroom and single bedroom and sofa-bed in lounge. 1 bathroom in each van. Living area and kitchen. Bus stop opposite to Havant and rest of island. 5 min walk to beach and bar and shop.

Itchenor is a quiet landscaped caravan park located between the pretty market town of Chichester and the famous sandy beach at West Wittering.

Local attractions include the picturesque local villages of Itchenor, Bosham, Arundel and the ancient Roman city of Chichester which is very picturesque and has a bustling high street. There is no club on the park, but there are nice local pubs including the Ship and the Lamb. Places to visit include West Dean Gardens, Parham House & Gardens, Highdown Gardens, Goodwood House, Arundel Castle, Petworth House, Uppark House & Garden, Weald & Downland outdoor museum containing an interesting selection of rescued historical buildings, Fishbourne Roman Palace, Bignor Roman Villa, Tangmere Military Aviation museum, Chichester Novium museum and Pallant House Gallery, Pagham Harbour Nature Reserve, Arundel Wetlands Centre, South Downs National Park, Kingley Vale. There are cinemas in Chichester, Bognor Regis and Portsmouth. Music and theatre at Chichester Festival Theatre.

For exercise there are lots of footpaths in the area and you can walk all around Chichester Harbour and on the South Downs National Park. The Salterns Way is a 12 mile walking & cycle path that runs from Chichester to East Head beach and passes adjacent to the park entrance. You can play golf at Selsey and Goodwood. Horse riding at Hunters Lodge and Monnington Equestrian. Outdoor swimming at West Wittering beach. Indoor swimming at Chichester. Sailing and boating at Chichester Marina, Itchenor Sailing Club, West Wittering Sailing Club and Bosham Sailing Club. Windsurfing on the Wittering beaches. Wakeboarding, paddle boarding and kayaking at Chichester Watersports.

Local events include horse racing at Goodwood. Motor racing at the Festival of Speed and the Goodwood Revival. Polo at Cowdray.
