With a 3-mile golden sandy beach perfect for families and dog lovers alike, Port Haverigg also boasts a 200-acre freshwater private lake which is not only stunning, but it is the only lake in the Lake District with NO speed restrictions, meaning it is a water sports enthusiast ‘dream come true’. The Lakes Aqua Park offers thrilling opportunities for all the family.

For the climbers and walkers, there is the mighty Scafell and the not-so-daunting Coniston Old Man, the Langdales, Tarn Hows and Black Coombe mountains. Golfers can delight in many golf courses including several challenging links courses within the area. Equestrians can enjoy horse riding on the beach and up the fells. For rail enthusiasts, Ravenglass and Eskdale Steam Railway provide 7 miles of spectacular scenery, the line runs from Ravenglass to Dalegarth Station near Boot in the valley of Eskdale. Or travel back in time at Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway, jump aboard the train at Haverthwaite Station and enjoy views from your carriage up to Lakeside, the southern tip of Lake Windermere.

The Lake District has many wonderful houses and castles to visit among them are Holker Hall; an Elizabethan House with a stunning garden, Muncaster Castle with its owl sanctuary, Levens Hall and its garden in its original 1694 design and stately topiary, Sizergh Castle and its fern and limestone garden, Beatrix Potter’s house at Hill Top and Dove Cottage in Grasmere which is home of the poet William Wordsworth.

For foodies, there is an endless supply of places to eat and drink. The on-site Ski bar is open 7 days a week and offers meals and drinks in spacious surroundings. Our spacious swift Loire is set on Ocean edge holiday park, Heysham, Morecambe.
The open plan kitchen living area gives enough space for everyone to spend quality time together by the sea. We have 3 bedrooms, one double and two twin rooms. There's also a double sofa bed in the lounge. The kick is fully equipped with a full size fridge freezer and air fryer.
Neighbouring towns include Morecambe, Lancaster and the Lake district.

Our modern caravan has an open plan kitchen/living area with a fully equipped kitchen and two free standing sofas i. The lounge.
The 3 bedrooms consist of double bed in the main bedroom and 2 twin rooms.

Brand new Willerby Grasmere 2024. Open plan living/kitchen area. The kitchen is fully equipped including full size fridge freezer and washing machine. The cosy corner sofa has recliners at either end. A front decking with furniture and a view of the sea in the distance.
3 bedrooms consist of a mian double bedroom and 2 twin bedrooms. Main bathroom with shower and second with toilet and sink.

There's a fully stocked convenience store. A local bus from site takes you into Morecambe or as far as Windermere in the lake District.

Larger than usual luxury caravan at 13x39ft. Open plan living area with patio doors leading onto wrap round decking. Full size fridge freezer and integrated microwave and oven. King-size bed in master bedroom leading onto en suite bathroom. Beds are made upon arrival. Complimentary tea, coffee and sugar, also cleaning products ie washing up liquid, hand wash and sprays. Hand towels provided in bathrooms and kitchen, but we ask you bring your own bath towels.
We are dog friendly welcoming 2/3 dogs depending on size free of charge. Dog bowls provided.
We are based in Ocean edge holiday park, Heysham. The site has facilities for all the family. Bar/restaurant, heated indoor pool and sauna, arcades, playground, soft play, arts and crafts den, scoops ice cream and waffle house and showbar for daily evening entertainment. There are also bookable activities for children. Passes aren't included in the price but can be bought at the reception on arrival. We are set on the coast of the Irish sea with stunning views and beautiful sunsets. There's a nature reserve next to site for dog walking or just a peaceful walk. Heysham village is a 5 minute drive or 30 minute walk. There's a lovely coast walk from Half Moon Bay, which has a dog friendly cafe, across Heysham cliffs which drops down into the village. If you fancy walking further you can access Sandylands prom from the village which takes you along the front to Morecambe. Morecambe is a 10 minute drive from site. Facilities open from February half term and close after October half term. The site is 12 months so you are still able to visit at reduced prices for a relaxing break by the sea.

New for rental this year is our 8 berth static caravan. Situated on ocean edge site at heysham its great for families. We are 1 minutes walk from the entertainment complex which has a bar restaurant arcades swimming pool soft play and outside park and football Court. Our caravan has 3 bedrooms and a sofa bed we have WiFi and a smart TV an airfryer and hairdryer 2 bathrooms one with a shower. Dogs are welcome. £50 deposit secures dates.

Our caravan is situated on a lovely end plot on the Grizedale area on park, just a short walk to the main facilities including the restaurants, pools and activities.
We have a lovely outdoor grass seating area with a bench and solar lights to enjoy the sun into the evening.

Inside, the caravan has three bedrooms each sleeping 2 people and boasts an extra sofa bed if needed, all bedding and towels are provided!
With a fun and stylish theme throughout both children and adults are sure to love staying here!


In the newly refurbished for 2023 front room we have a 40 inch smart TV where you can access your own Netflix, Disney+, Amazon prime (and the rest) and free unlimited WIFI is also available.
