Wanderers Haven is our stunning dog-friendly self-catering 4-berth Static Caravan, which is located on a quiet and very relaxing family-run Holiday Park in the village of Brigham near Cockermouth in Cumbria.

The site is located on the edge of the Lake District National Park, which in 2017 was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Our Static Caravan is situated at Brigham Holiday Park, which is a beautiful well-maintained gated site comprising of 72 privately owned static caravans, and it has the added bonus of a Site Warden. You will find the Holiday Park a really wonderful place to relax and unwind, and it is open all year round.

The site has easy access to the A66 and is an ideal location to tour the beautiful Lakes, Forests and Mountains of the Lake District and everything it has to offer the discerning traveller.


Accommodation - ABI Hamilton Static Caravan - Sleeps maximum of 4 people.

Bedroom 1 - Spacious Bedroom with King Size Bed. Built in Wardrobes with drawers under. Vanity Unit and Stool with drawers to the side giving plenty of storage. Two Bedside Units with Table Lamps.

Plus, through another door in the bedroom is the En-suite Bathroom comprising of Shower, Toilet, Pedestal Wash Basin and Mirror. Towel Radiator.

Bedroom 2 - Good size 2nd Bedroom. Two Single Beds. Built in Wardrobe. Wall Mirror Unit with Shelf below.

There is a Separate Bathroom in the Hallway with Shower, Toilet and Wash Basin with Storage Cupboard below and Mirror above. Storage Shelves, Cupboard Housing Boiler and Towel Radiator.

Kitchen -Built-in 4 Ring Gas Hob, Built-in Gas Oven, Built in Microwave, 70/30 Fridge Freezer, Dulce Gusto Coffee Maker, Kettle, Toaster, Non Stick Saucepans, Frying Pan, Cutlery, Plates, Bowls, Cups and Glasses plus various Baking Trays and Dishes etc.

Lounge - 43" Toshiba 4K Ultra HD Smart VIDAA Freely Television so you can use your own Amazon Prime and Netflix, Disney+ Accounts etc. DVD Player & a selection of DVDs. Two Very Comfortable Sofas with additional Cushions, Coffee Table & Pouffe. Low Level Storage Unit under TV.

Free Wifi Connection and USB Charging Sockets.

Dining Area - Dining Table with four Dining Chairs.

Outside. Secure Decking to front and Gated Decking to the side of the property, with Garden Furniture. Three Steps take you on to the Decking Area from the Parking Space.

One Car Parking Space and your own small gravel area to side of Caravan (not enclosed). No vehicles are permitted to park on the grass anywhere on site.

1 Medium Dog or 2 Small Dogs only allowed on request. N.B. We cannot accept additional dogs in this Static Caravan.

All Bed Linen and Towels are supplied.

Full Gas Central Heating controlled by Wireless Thermostat.

Gas, electricity and water is included in the nightly rate.

Please Note: There is an additional charge of £85 for cleaning which is payable on every booking. Minimum Stay is 2 nights.

Holiday in our high spec 2 bedroom caravan which sleeps up to 6 people.

It’s located on a popular Parkdean Resorts holiday park close to Scarborough, Filey & Bridlington. The park is across the road from a gorgeous beach reached by a subway. There’s lots to do and see both on the holiday park and in the surrounding area.

Caravan has double glazing & gas central heating which is ideal for early & late season holidays. We personally clean and prepare the caravan ready for our guests so it is maintained to a very high standard.

Caravan is situated on a quite area of the park (Pines, named after the pine trees which surround this area) with its own parking space and large wrap around veranda with plenty of seating which is ideal for dining alfresco and gets sun all day, weather permitting.

On entering caravan you are welcomed by the large homely open plan living/dining/kitchen area with integrated large fridge/freezer & microwave. In the kitchen there is a gas hob with extractor fan, gas oven & separate grill, kettle, toaster, halogen oven, slow cooker, sandwich toaster/grill, plenty of cooking utensils, pans & crockery.

On your left is a freestanding dining table & 4 chairs. The caravan is unusual as there is a step down into the lounge from the dining room. Here you will find a comfy corner sofa, with lots of cosy cushions, which contains the sofa bed, a 43” Smart TV & an Echo Dot which are both connected to WiFi, DVD player, CD/ DAB radio, coffee table and pouffe. A log effect electric fire can be used for effect only or to provide some welcome warmth on those chilly autum evenings. In the drawers you will find DVDs, games and a file containing local information.

Double doors at front of the lounge open onto the large wrap around veranda where you will find a rattan sofa set, round to the side of caravan is a large table & 6 sturdy chairs ideal for dining alfresco,

Through the door from the kitchen is a large shower room, a twin bedroom & a king size master bedroom with ensuite. Master bedroom has large sliding wardrobe with a full length mirror, large dressing table with mirror over, plenty of drawers to place all your bits & bobs, bedside cabinets, overbed/bedside lights, on the wall is a 24” flat screen Smart TV which is connected to WiFi. There is room in master for a travel cot. Twin room has 2 single beds, wardrobe, drawers, bedside chest, lamp & wall mounted 19" LCD TV/DVD. Both bedrooms have blackout roller blinds.

This is a real home from home caravan with many extras you will not get when you book through ParkdeanResorts. It is extremely well kept and used regularly by ourselves. We are sure you will not be disappointed however we cannot guarantee the weather.

Accommodation - Carnaby Oakdale Static Caravan - Sleeps maximum of 4 people.

Bedroom 1 - Spacious bedroom with king-size bed. Built-in wardrobes with drawers and shelves give plenty of storage. Wall mirror. Two over-bed cupboards. Two bedside cupboards with table lamps. iron, ironing board, clothes airer and vacuum cleaner can be found in the corner wardrobe which also has a further storage shelf above. Plus through another door in the bedroom is the en-suite bathroom comprising of toilet and wash basin.

There is a separate bathroom in the hallway with shower, toilet and wash basin with mirror cabinet above.

Bedroom 2 - Two single beds. Built in extended wardrobe and dressing table with mirror plus stool, drawers and shelves. Hairdryer. Plus over-bed cupboards for extra storage.

Kitchen - Gas cooker with four ring gas hob, 70/30 Fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, stainless steel saucepans, frying pans, cutlery, plates, bowls, cups and glasses plus various baking trays and dishes etc.

Lounge - 32" LG Full HD Freeview Smart Television so you can use your own Amazon Prime and Netflix Accounts. Very comfortable corner sofa & chair with additional cushions, coffee table. Wall mounted feature electric fire with display unit surround.

One car parking space and your own small grassed area to side of caravan (not enclosed). No vehicles are permitted to park on the grass.

1 medium dog or 2 small dogs allowed on request. (Never feel you cannot request to book if you have more than the stated number of dogs, please ask, we will consider your request & if we can help we will).
