Dear Owner,
Static Caravan Rentals has been performing literally off the scale recently after really strong, three fold traffic growth for the first 6 months of this year.
It is now top in Google for “Static Caravan Hire England Scotland Wales”! Outdoing all other major sites. Get used to seeing this. It’s also often in the top 3 for an area which is well populated with listings or at the very least on the first 2 pages. Amazing for a site which literally didn’t feature 6 months ago in a market of large well funded companies.
The current rate of enquiries is equivalent to 15 enquiries per listing per year. This figure does not include phone calls. So if you have created an account and not yet added any listings or pictures to your listing please do. If you need any help please email support.
Social Media
Those of you who are regularly on Social Media will be aware of my relentless activity. Please also share your listing using the “copy link” button or sharing options on your listing page.
A-Plan Insurance
We have an exciting new affiliate relationship with A-Plan insurance. This will contribute to funding for improvements, along with premium listings while keeiping the website free.
Important Enhancements – Automatic Watermarking
I have as always been working on a number of enhancements. The main new enhancement to consider this time is the adding your details, in addition to the website logo to the watermark. Find this option on the caravan picture upload page. This option will automatically add your phone number (unless set to hidden) and email to all your images for that particular caravan, making them more secure. This enhancement was inspired by spotting a scammer using watermarked, with logo only, images from another popular website. Please use at your convenience.
There were a few minor glitches in the caravan editing side of things, for people using specific browsers. These have all been ironed out now.
In addition the server was updated for a new server with enhanced performance in April.
Best Wishes – and as always any questions then ask away!
-Hagen
