We call it our wellness retreat. The beach is a 10 minute walk, far stretching firm sand, fabulous views and phenomenal sunsets.
Call at the friendly, comfortable restaurant bar nineteen.57, try your luck in the arcades or have a game of 10 pin bowling. Grab some fish & chips on the way back.
The train station is a few minutes walk over the bridge with a journey into Barmouth taking a mere 5 minutes. There you can browse in the many varied shops have a well earned coffee and cake or pop into one of the pubs, most are serving meals too. For those energetic enough there are some fantastic walks, see the waterfalls and ancient burial site.
It really is a break where everything is within your reach.

We do ask that you bring your own bed linen and personal towels but there are protectors on everything.

Tea, coffee, including pods for the Nespresso machine, sugar, sweetners, condiments, sauces, oil/spray oil are provided.
For the 4 legged friends there are feeding bowls, rugs, toys, a lead and treat jar.

Whether you're planning a family holiday, a walking break with friends or simply somewhere to relax and unwind, Trekker's Rest provides a comfortable base throughout the year.

Brigham Holiday Park is a secure, well-maintained gated park with just 72 privately owned static caravans and an on-site warden, creating a peaceful environment for couples and families alike. Open all year round and with easy access to the A66, it's perfectly situated for exploring the lakes, mountains, forests and picturesque villages of the Lake District National Park.

The spacious master bedroom features a king-size bed, bedside cabinets with feature rope lighting, an en-suite cloakroom with toilet and wash basin, and a walk-in wardrobe with drawers providing excellent storage. An iron, ironing board and clothes airer are also stored in the wardrobe for your convenience.

The second and third bedrooms each offer two comfortable single beds with built-in storage, making Trekker's Rest ideal for families or groups of friends.

A separate family shower room is located off the hallway and includes a shower, toilet, wash basin with storage cupboard and wall mirror.

The well-equipped kitchen includes an electric cooker with four-ring gas hob, integrated microwave, integrated 70/30 fridge freezer, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, kettle, toaster and everything you'll need for a self-catering holiday, including saucepans, frying pans, crockery, cutlery, glasses, baking trays and cooking utensils. A vacuum cleaner, dustpan and brush are conveniently stored in the boiler cupboard.

The bright and comfortable lounge is the perfect place to relax after a day exploring the Western Lake District. Enjoy the 40-inch Hisense Full HD Smart TV with Freeview, where you can sign into your own Netflix or Amazon Prime accounts. A DVD player with a selection of DVDs, books and children's games is also provided, together with free Wi-Fi, USB charging sockets and a feature electric fire.

The dining area comfortably seats six guests, making it ideal for family meals together.

Outside, Trekker's Rest benefits from full gated decking to the front and side of the caravan. The front decking provides a small glass table and two chairs, while the side of the caravan features a six-seat picnic bench, perfect for dining outdoors or relaxing in the fresh Cumbrian air. Parking for two vehicles is available directly beside the caravan, together with a small gravelled garden area (please note this area is not enclosed).

Trekker's Rest welcomes dogs, with 1 medium dog or 2 small dogs accepted on request. If you have more dogs than our usual policy allows, please contact us before booking. Where possible, we will always try to help.

Bed linen and towels are provided for use during your stay, and all beds are made up ready for your arrival.

The caravan benefits from full gas central heating controlled by a wireless thermostat. Gas, electricity and water are all included in the nightly rate.

A mandatory cleaning fee of £70 applies to every booking. The minimum stay is two nights.

A travel cot and high chair can be provided for a small additional charge. Please contact us before your arrival if you would like either item arranged.

For the comfort of all guests, Brigham Holiday Park does not permit contractors or work vans on site. Hen and stag party bookings are not accepted.

Garden furniture is provided, and there is parking for one vehicle directly behind the caravan, together with a small grassed area alongside the caravan (please note this area is not enclosed).

For guests choosing our Optional Private Hot Tub Upgrade, your own private hot tub is the perfect place to unwind after a day of walking, sightseeing or exploring the surrounding area. Relax beneath the open sky while enjoying uninterrupted views towards the surrounding fells – a wonderful way to end each day of your holiday.
