Description
Growing up around and now living on the Jurassic coast ourselves we know how special it is so we purchased our little piece of paradise at the end of 2021 and would love to share it with you.
Our holiday home is located within the pristine Durdle Door Holiday Park which is part of the Lulworth Estate. Only a moments’ walk from the famous stone arch of Durdle Door itself, a World Heritage site and walking distance/couple minutes’ drive to the stunning Lulworth Cove.
What we have to offer is a modern, tastefully designed, light and airy 2021 Swift Burgundy 36 x 12, 3 bed static caravan with all the features and feels of a cosy holiday home. Complete with secure decking off the lounge via patio doors with outdoor furniture which is perfect for al fresco dining or simply a coffee in the sunshine while enjoying the countryside view.
Situated on the Parks newest pitch area ‘Newlands View’. This area is quiet yet close to the amenities and enjoys a slightly larger pitch size, so there is plenty of room between holiday homes and ours is on a flat terrain. All the holiday homes have a lawn area surrounding them with their own parking space. Durdle Door is only a couple minutes’ walk. However, being slightly set back you are more sheltered from the sea breeze on gusty days - although still close enough to grab your coffee and go and enjoy the sunrise or sunset over the stunning sea vista.
There is an open-plan living space featuring a kitchen, dining area and comfortable lounge area with a feature log burner style electric fire and patio doors that opens onto the spacious enclosed decking.
Off the kitchen there is a door leading to the hallway leading to three bedrooms one double, one single and one twin all with storage. There is also a shower room with full height walk in shower, a toilet, sink and vanity cupboard and a second cloakroom with toilet and sink and further shelf space.
Complete with all mod cons including gas central heating throughout, excellent lighting inside and out, free fast WIFI (fully updated in 2022), a new smart TV and DVD player and several sockets also have USB sockets.
The kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of worktop space and storage including a full-size Gas hob/oven/grill, large integrated fridge/freezer, integrated microwave, kettle and 4-slice toaster. There is all the cooking and dining necessities you will need so you’re all set to eat in using the excellent local produce. However, if you want to eat out you will be spoilt for choice with all the local restaurants and eateries serving food for all tastes.
The Holiday Park has its own onsite restaurant and well stocked convenience store selling the delicious ‘COOK’ meals. There is also a coffee and snack hut just outside the park on your way to Durdle Door with picnic tables to sit and enjoy the view.
There are two new play areas for younger children to enjoy. I’m afraid there isn’t a frenzied Kids Club or high-octane entertainment team as you would see at larger chain parks if that’s what you’re after, although bands regularly play in the onsite restaurant.
The theme here is very much peace and tranquillity, while enjoying the stunning scenery, local walks, breath-taking coastlines and wildlife. It is also an excellent base to visit all the stunning seaside towns along the Jurassic coast. The only problem you might have will be deciding where to visit first.
The majority of the holiday homes on the site are privately owned with owners also enjoying their down time, therefore we do ask guests to respect the quiet and calm and to please treat our holiday home with care, as we love to enjoy it too x
